On February 6, 2023, Yannis Paetzelt successfully defended his Master´s Thesis at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. With the defence, he completed his degree in Computer Science.  His thesis was supervised by Dr. Philip Harding and was sponsored by Brenk Systemplanung. Yannis developed and characterized an application capable of generating integrated segmentation and packaging plans of arbitrary 3D-structures which are contaminated and/or activated. These structures may occur in the wake of the dismantling of a nuclear power plant. He was able to significantly extend previous approaches developed by Brenk.
