In early 2025, Brenk Systemplanung took the opportunity to present its experience in the field of plant labelling systems at the 24th Colloquium for Drilling and Blasting Technology at Clausthal University of Technology. The colloquium is a renowned mining event in Germany and regularly brings together relevant industry representatives to exchange expertise.
Using the example of underground boreholes for the coming Konrad radioactive waste repository, Brenk Systemplanung demonstrated the practical benefits of comprehensive and unambiguous plant labelling. Unambiguous identification and comprehensive documentation are particularly important in the field of radioactive waste disposal. But also for other projects and applications labelling by means of a well thought-out and consistent plant labeling system offers enormous advantages in overcoming current challenges and overall industry developments, such as digitisation and automation.
